Prime Barbecue: Experience Unmatched Flavor and Texas BBQ Perfection in Knightdale

YUM! Must go! So glad to have found Texas BBQ since we are new to Clayton. My husband got exactly same meal but he got baked beans. I think those are the best baked beans I’ve ever had. Jalapeño sausage is amazing and the brisket was delicious and I’m not a fan of cherry cobbler, but I could’ve eaten two more! My husband and i shared. Lovely atmosphere, very friendly staff. Great service. We’ll be back and bring friends & guest

**10/10 – Absolutely Worth the Wait!** Prime BBQ is hands-down the best BBQ I’ve ever had—totally worth the hour-long wait in line. From the moment we arrived, the experience was next-level. We were offered water, beer, and had any questions answered with a smile. Some folks even got samples while waiting! The team made the wait feel like part of the fun, not just something to endure. And the food? Incredible. Every bite was packed with flavor, perfectly cooked, and clearly made with care. The service was top tier—warm, welcoming, and incredibly efficient once we got to the front. Can’t recommend this place enough. If you’re thinking about going—do it. You won’t regret it. Prime BBQ lives up to the hype and then some!

FIVE STAR RATING Attention everyone! This is a Five Star Rated Restaurant, and if anybody else says otherwise they are lying! Now, I'm going to be honest with you, if you broke don't bother to come here and complain because you pay for the piece of Beef, or Pork that you get from this place here! From the moment that you walk up to the front, until you leave, this place is just simply! The atmosphere, the presence and the food are top notch! The Restrooms make AppleBees' and Chili's be EMBARRASSED! The owner is usually on the floor checking on his customers to see if there's anything that he can do to make the experience better for you! One of the things that I liked was that they PRODUCE their PRODUCT. As in they have their BBQ Sauce, and certain restaurant merchandise for sale, as well. Overall great place to eat! And look!! There's a park right in front of the Restaurants, so go ahead feel guilty and eat all you can walk it off at the park!

This place, WOW! Worth the wait (over 1 1/2 hours of waiting in line) and it was worth every second. Now I know why the lines are always long because this place is amazing! The best bbq I’ve ever tried. We tried a little bit of everything and nothing disappointed! This place is neatly decorated, with lots of seating and a hand washing station! The staff were friendly and the place was clean. It’s got outdoor and indoor seating, I can’t recommend it enough! My husband and I are already talking about wanting to go back. 1000/10!!

We had the most amazing experience here. Everything was phenomenal from start to finish. The meat was insane, the sides incredible and the blueberry cobbler was a showstopper. We even got to chat with the owner and it was very obvious how down to earth he is and how intentionally crafted this bbq spot is. Would recommend to literally anyone.

Not even certain what i can add to the multitude of great reviews. The line was insane, but, and I’m so shocked to be saying this, the over an hour wait was well worth it. All of the food is really good, but the brisket is freaking incredible. This was our first return to the States in almost 4 years, but that brisket has us contemplating more returns, more frequently, for more brisket! Lol…but not really playing! Not only would we go again and again, we would stand in line if we had to. Heck…they gave us a free beer while waiting in line, so waiting was its own reward too.

We purchased the brisket, green beans, and coleslaw. The brisket was the best I've eaten, excellent taste and texture. The beans were perfectly seasoned and the texture was just right. The coleslaw had just the right amount of acidity to balance the fattiness of the brisket. It comes with pickles, pickled onions, and sauce. The meat was so flavorful, we barely used the sauce. The service was fantastic. We were there during lunch hour on a Thursday and we waited in line for a while, but we didn't mind. When it was our turn, they gave us their full attention and made sure that we were taken care of. Excellent food and excellent customer service. It took us 45 minutes to get there, and we will happily do it again!

Decided to check it out today. It didn't disappoint. Pulled Pork- Absolutely some of the best I've ever had Brisket- Very good Beef Cheeks- first time trying and didn't disappoint Turkey- i liked it better than my wife. I thought it was very good Baked Beans 5 star Fried rice- ok. Not great Green Beans- good flavor but a lot of stems Cornbread- Sweet and very good Pecan pie- perfect crust and good taste just a little too many pecans in the filling. Will be back
